Susan C. Danberg, OD, FCOVD

Behavioral Optometrist

Dr. Danberg is a behavioral Optometrist in private practice and specializes in Visual Therapy and Rehab.  Her practice is dedicated to helping children and adults reach their peak levels of performance in academics, work, and athletic abilities by maximizing the visual skills necessary for such activities.  She is also a Global Clinical Advisor Special Health Program and Co-founder of Special Olympics Lions Clubs International Opening Eyes Program (SOLCIOE). 

Dr. Danberg, is board certified in Vision Therapy and a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.  She is a Certified Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Ericksonian Hypnosis is the only Optometrist in the US to have developed and integrated techniques for Sports Enhancement using Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Vision Therapy.  She has worked with both professional and amateur athletes in a number of sports including tennis, golf, riflery and swimming.  Currently she is working with children and adults with learning disabilities, development delays, and Traumatic Brain Injury using both NLP and VT.  Dr. Danberg has also been selected by the Veteran’s Administration to be an outside clinician for treating veterans with Traumatic Brain Injuries.
